Transportation Terms

This page summarizes how AMDM Holdings LLC handles freight. The terms that apply to a specific shipment are those stated in our quotation, the rate confirmation and the bill of lading for that load.
Quotations and booking
- Quotations are based on the information provided and are valid until the date shown.
- Accepting a quotation requests a booking; a shipment is confirmed only when we send a booking confirmation.
- Rates may be revised if freight details differ materially from what was quoted (weight, dimensions, piece count, access, or additional stops).
Freight requirements
- Freight must be accurately described, properly packaged and, where applicable, palletized and shrink-wrapped.
- We do not transport hazardous materials, temperature-controlled freight, live animals or oversize/overweight loads.
Pickup and delivery
- Facility access, dock availability, appointments and receiving hours must be disclosed when requesting a quote.
- Delays caused by facilities may result in detention or rescheduling charges as stated in the quotation.
- Proof of delivery records the receiver, signature or exceptions noted, and delivery photos.
Claims
Shortages or damage should be noted on the delivery receipt and reported to us promptly in writing with the shipment reference. Claims are handled according to the terms stated on the quotation and bill of lading.
Payment
Invoices are issued after delivery and state the payment terms and instructions.
